For teams

Train the whole bench on the same aromas.

A shared plan for teams who evaluate aroma and flavor for a living. Everyone works from one terpene library, one set of drills, and one yearly bill. Seats are for the people you invite. You, as owner, are included without using a seat.

$29.99 per seat per year, 5 to 30 seats, billed yearly.

What a team plan is

A team plan is one subscription that covers a group of people instead of one person. The account that buys it becomes the organization's owner. The owner invites colleagues by email, each colleague creates their own account under their work address, and every one of them gets the full library and every study tool in it.

Seats are counted for invited members only. The owner is not a seat. A plan of 5 seats therefore covers 6 people: the owner and 5 members. That is worth stating plainly because most seat-based products count the buyer, and the arithmetic surprises people at renewal when they do not.

Everything is billed once a year, to one card, with one invoice. Nobody on the team is asked for payment details, and no member ever sees a bill.

Who trains this way

Terpenes are the aromatic compounds shared across almost every plant that smells of something. That makes one library useful to trades that rarely think of themselves as neighbours.

Fragrance and perfumery houses

Evaluators and junior perfumers who need a shared vocabulary for accords and naturals. A team plan gives every bench the same reference library and the same drill set, so a note called green by one person means the same thing to the next.

Wine and spirits programs

Certification candidates studying varietal character together. Structured recall beats tasting from memory alone, and a shared plan lets a study group work the same cards on the same schedule.

Coffee and tea roasteries

Cupping tables run on agreed descriptors. Training new cuppers on the aromatic compounds behind origin and roast character shortens the time before their scores line up with the room.

Culinary and beverage teams

Kitchens and bar programs building flavor from herbs, spices, and botanicals. Understanding why two ingredients bridge well is faster to teach through chemistry than through trial alone.

Formulation and product development

Cosmetic and natural product chemists working with essential oils and isolates. Teams can align on material selection and on how a whole extraction behaves against a single isolate.

Aromatherapy and wellness practices

Practices training staff on essential oil profiles. Everyone works from the same profiles instead of from folklore passed along in a shift handover.

Cannabis education programs

Instructors preparing cohorts for Ganjier, Oaksterdam, and similar certifications. Terpene chemistry is universal to plants, so the same library serves a cannabis syllabus and a fragrance one without being written twice.

Laboratories and quality teams

Analysts who read chromatograms all day and want the sensory side to match. Pairing instrument results with trained organoleptic evaluation catches what either one alone would miss.

What every member gets

A seat is not a cut-down account. Every member gets the same thing an individual subscriber pays for.

The whole terpene library

Every profile, with natural sources, aroma descriptors, and the chemistry behind them. No section is held back from a team member.

Unlimited flashcards and spaced repetition

Cards scheduled by how well each person actually recalls them, not by a fixed calendar. Intensity and session length are each member's own setting.

Unlimited quizzes and a quiz builder

Practice against the full library, or build a quiz narrowed to the materials a particular bench or cohort works with.

A sensory journal and collections

Somewhere to record what a material actually smelled like, tagged and searchable later, and collections for grouping the ones that matter to a project.

Notes and study exports

Unlimited notes, and exports when someone wants their own record outside the app.

Analytics on their own study

Each member sees their own progress: what is mastered, what is weak, and what is due.

What the administrator gets

One page holds the whole organization. The owner runs it, and may appoint a billing manager to share the work without sharing the owner's account.

Seats used against seats paid

One number, on one page. Open invitations hold a seat, so the count never promises a seat that is already spoken for.

Invite by email

Send an invitation to a work address. The person creates their own account under that address and joins, with no password ever passing through an administrator.

Add seats when the team grows

Raise the count and the cost is shown before anything is charged. The figure on the confirmation is the figure the card is charged, to the cent.

Reduce seats at renewal

A reduction is queued and takes effect at the next renewal rather than mid-period, so nobody loses access they have already been paid for.

Remove someone who has left

Revoking frees the seat for reuse straight away. The bill does not change until renewal, so the seat can be filled at no extra cost.

A billing manager, if you want one

The owner can appoint someone to handle invoices and seats without handing over the owner's own account. Only the owner can appoint or remove them.

Invoices and payment details

Billing history, receipts, and the card on file are managed through the payment provider's own portal, reached from the organization page.

What an administrator cannot see

Buying somebody a subscription does not buy the right to read their study records. This is the part worth reading before you roll the plan out, because it is the first question a team member will ask.

Sharing is off until the member turns it on

A new member shares nothing. The switch lives in their own settings and nobody else can set it for them, not the owner and not a billing manager.

The owner sees six fields, and only for those who opted in

Name and work email, cards studied, cards mastered, quizzes taken, average score, and the date they last studied. Nothing else, and never the content of a note or a journal entry.

The rest are counted, not named

The view shows how many members are not sharing without listing who they are, so declining is not visible as a choice any individual made.

Billing managers never see it

The progress view belongs to the owner alone. Somebody handling invoices has no reason to read study records, so they cannot.

How the billing works

Team plans are annual. The charge is $29.99 per seat per year, so 5 seats is $149.95 a year for 6 people. There is no monthly team option, and there is no separate charge for the owner.

Adding seats mid-year takes effect straight away and is charged pro rata for the rest of the billing year. The amount is shown before it is charged, and the figure shown is the figure charged. Reducing seats is queued for the next renewal instead of applying immediately, so nobody is cut off from time already paid for, and a reduction cannot drop below the seats already claimed.

When a member leaves, revoking them frees the seat at once and it can be filled again at no extra cost until renewal. If a payment fails, access continues through a grace period while the card is retried, with notices to the owner and any billing managers at the first failure and again three days before the deadline. If no payment succeeds, access pauses. Nothing is deleted, and it resumes the moment a payment goes through.

Set your team up

Choose a seat count, pay once for the year, and invite people by email. The account you buy from becomes the owner, so buy from the account that should hold it.

Questions teams ask

What is a seat on a team plan?

A seat is one person you invite. Seats are counted for invited members only: the owner, the account that buys the plan, is included without using a seat. A five seat plan therefore covers six people, the owner plus five members.

How much does a team plan cost?

Team plans are 29.99 US dollars per seat per year, billed yearly, for between 5 and 30 seats. There is no monthly team option. The owner is not charged as a seat.

Who becomes the owner of the organization?

Whoever is signed in when the plan is bought. The owner account manages seats, invitations, and billing, and is the only account that can appoint a billing manager or view shared progress. It cannot be transferred from inside the app today, so buy from the account that should hold it.

What happens when someone leaves the team?

The administrator revokes their membership. The seat frees immediately and can be filled by someone else at no extra cost, because the bill does not change until renewal. The work account created by the invitation is closed at the same time, and the person is sent a notice before that happens.

Does a team plan touch a personal subscription?

No. A personal subscription under a different email address is a separate record and is never cancelled, changed, or charged on the member's behalf. If somebody already pays for their own plan and later joins a team, both continue to exist independently.

Can we add seats in the middle of the year?

Yes. Added seats take effect at once and are charged pro rata for the remainder of the billing year. The amount is shown for confirmation before anything is charged, and the figure shown is the figure charged.

Can we reduce the number of seats?

Yes, and the reduction takes effect at the next renewal rather than immediately, so nobody loses access that has already been paid for. A reduction cannot go below the number of seats currently claimed, which counts accepted members plus any invitations still open.

Can an administrator see what team members are studying?

Only if the member chooses to share, and only the owner can see it. Progress sharing is off by default, the switch is in the member's own settings, and no administrator can set it for them. The owner then sees six fields: name and work email, cards studied, cards mastered, quizzes taken, average score, and last study date. Notes and journal entries are never visible to anyone else.

What happens if a payment fails?

Access continues during a grace period while the card is retried, and the owner and any billing managers are emailed at the first failure and again three days before the deadline. If no payment succeeds by the end of the grace period, access pauses rather than the organization being deleted, and it resumes as soon as a payment goes through.

Do team members need to create their own accounts?

Yes, and that is deliberate. An invitation goes to a work email address, and the person sets their own password when they accept. No administrator ever handles a member's password, and each member's study records belong to their own account.

Is a team plan available for fewer than five people?

Not as a team plan. Below five seats an individual subscription for each person is the cheaper option at the same yearly price per person. Team plans start at five seats because the administration, the shared billing, and the progress view are what a team is paying for.

Which industries use this?

Fragrance and perfumery, wine and spirits, coffee and tea, culinary and beverage, cosmetic and natural product formulation, aromatherapy practices, cannabis education programs, and laboratory quality teams. Terpene chemistry is universal to aromatic plants, so one library serves all of them.
